Walk to Lingan Head

What was a simple stretch of the legs, walking along
the shore to Lingan Head when we grew up in the
50/60/70's to pick blueberries is now more
adventuresome as I found in July when I made the
trek. The landscape & terrain have changed
dramatically almost impassible in some places with
bogs and barriers put in by the company that built
the 7 turbines that now provide 2-3 megawatts each.
That is enough power to keep 6500 homes with
electricity.
Here is my video showing my walk to Lingan Head on July 17, 2007. It took over 21/2 hours to make it to the Lookout and out to the Lingan Road near the Power plant following the old road which is now grown in and barely visible.
Look for the Eagle nesting on the cliff and Malcie's new mini home in the video.
I finally made it to Malcie's to enjoy a cold one and he made some Campbell's soup but that is another Malcie Campbell story for another time.
